On Tuesday, the Israeli military reported the largest single-day death toll since the October war, with 24 soldiers killed in Gaza. The fatalities resulted from intense bombardment, including an explosion that claimed 21 lives.

According to Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, militants fired rocket-propelled grenades at a tank, triggering an explosion in buildings where forces had planted explosives.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces advanced into western Khan Younis, storming a hospital and arresting medical staff. Gaza reported at least 50 casualties, with rescuers hindered by besieged medical facilities. The U.S. urged Israel to adhere to international law, emphasizing the protection of innocent Palestinians and medical staff.
